Michael Rusnak is President of the Akron Canton Bonsai Society http://akroncantonbonsai.blogspot.com/ and has practiced Bonsai for nearly 25 years. Today he tends some 200 trees, some of which are over 100 years old. A teacher in the Akron City Schools for 35 years, Michael earned a B.A. and M.A. in Literature from Kent State University. He is the author of nearly 100 articles for “Ohio Archeologist” Magazine. Some of his articles can be accessed via The Ohio State University Knowledge Bank at osu.edu

Dan studied Eastern philosophy and culture in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong as a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Scholarship recipient. He then continued his studies in Japan as a Keizai Koho Fellow.
